The purpose of TechiePills is to provide pills of knowledge—bite-sized, digestible insights that make complex technology easier to swallow. My mission is to share global knowledge that transcends any single vendor or cloud provider. I am dedicated to discussing the fundamental concepts, architectural patterns, and products that apply across the entire industry. I believe in using the right tool for the job and explaining those tools in a vocabulary that is accessible to everyone.

Who am I?

My journey in technology began more than 25 years ago. Since then, I’ve been working for Oracle and I had the privilege of partnering with far more than 100 customers globally, spanning industries like Energy, Public Sector, IT, and beyond. This journey has taken me around the world, living and working alongside diverse teams to solve their most pressing technical challenges.

As a Technology Architect, I sit at the intersection of vision and execution. I help organizations define their future state in the Cloud, optimize their existing On-Premise footprints, and troubleshoot critical performance issues when they arise.

And in today’s landscape, it is impossible—and unwise—to ignore the AI wave. I am actively supporting customers in adopting these new technologies, helping them integrate AI into their existing architectures to drive real business value. Whether it’s managing massive data sets with Cloudera and Spark or designing the infrastructure to support Machine Learning, I ensure that AI is a functional reality rather than just a buzzword.

When I’m away from the screen, I’m usually focused on melody or strategy—either playing music or starting to learn the intricate “architecture” of a game of chess.

Techiepills: Making Tech Understandable

My focus for 2026: Giving back. After 25 years of supporting global enterprises and seeing how technology works under the hood, I’m dedicated to sharing the knowledge I have acquired. Through TechiePills, I aim to translate complex architecture into a vocabulary accessible to everyone—from fellow architects to the next generation of tech talent.

Oracle has given me a front-row seat to the evolution of enterprise tech. But in my daily work, I support customers using a diverse range of technologies beyond the Oracle catalog—such as Cloudera, Kudu, Hadoop, Spark, IA, Linux, devops tools, networking design and many others.

My mission is to share global technology knowledge that transcends any single vendor or cloud provider. I am dedicated to discussing the fundamental concepts, architectural patterns, and products that apply across the entire industry—from multi-cloud strategies to local data centers. I believe in using the right tool for the job, regardless of the logo on it, and I am committed to explaining all technologies in a way that is clear, unbiased, and understandable for everyone. While I may use Oracle examples to illustrate specific points, my insights are generally intended to be applicable to any product or platform.

Of course, I’ll also share specific presentations on Oracle products from time to time. This is where my most extensive experience lies, and I want to share that specialized knowledge with you also.

Please note: The views expressed here are entirely my own and do not represent the opinions or positions of Oracle. I am sharing my personal perspective as a practitioner; and while I strive for accuracy, technology moves fast—sometimes I may be wrong, and I welcome open dialogue and learning together.
